Tesla announced that they will be increasing their prices for Canadian customers starting February 1st. No reason for the increase has been indicated by Tesla at this time.

  • Model 3 Long Range RWD: +$4,000

  • Model 3 Long Range AWD: +$8,000

  • Model 3 Performance: +$9,000

  • Model Y (all trims): +$4,000

  • Model S (all trims): +$4,000

  • Model X (all trims): +$4,000

The loss of the iZEV rebates and increased prices on Tesla vehicles, (and Elon’s antics, but we won’t get into that here), make pretty much every other EV a more financially viable option. The argument of “buy a Tesla for their charging network” is no longer valid as other manufacturers are getting access to Tesla Superchargers.

Time to be looking elsewhere for EVs, such as Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 or 6, or VW ID.4.

Genesis unveiled the GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle concept at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

I love when manufacturers showcase radically different ideas and concepts such as this. It seems like they really had fun with this.
